Who is Dr. Fele?

Dr. Fele is a Family. It is 3 generations of tender, loving and personal care of our patients, family and friends.
 

The original Dr. Fele, Dr. Luis Felemovicius, was my father. He was a caring, smart and diligent physician who passed the ‘Medical gene to two of his children and at least one of his grandchildren; but more importantly he passed along his caring and loving personality, good eye for diagnosis and a critical view of healthcare.
 

The founder, president and CEO of Ask Dr. Fele is Dr. Isaac Felemovicius, MD, FACS, FASCRS. Dr. Isaac is a Board Certified General and Colon and Rectal Surgeon practicing in Minnesota, USA. He was born in Evanston Illinois, while his father was doing his Pediatrics and Neonatology Residency and Fellowship at North Western Hospital.
 

Dr. Isaac, as he is known, was raised in Mexico City where he went to medical school, graduating with Honors in 1991. He did his residency and Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Listed in Mpls St Paul Magazine Minnesota’s “Top Doctors” for many consecutive years, he is highly respected by patients and colleagues.
 

Dr. Isaac is also a Medical Director of a Home Hospice company providing palliative care and assistance to the community.
 

Dr. Isaac is the founder and CEO of the Felemovicius Family Foundation. A non-profit organization that provides stipends to young foreign students and physicians to come to the USA and experience our healthcare and medical education. Dr. Isaac is also an international Speaker and Educator who presents in many countries and languages including Spain, Mexico and South America.
 

Dr. Isaac is married for more than 30 years to an artist (Sandrafeleart.com) and has 2 children, Alexandra who is a Physician Assistant and Luis who is a business major in college.
